Silane Coupling Agents for Plastics

A silicone polymer has two different functional groups, one semi-organic and one semi-inorganic that react and form a uniform dispersion in the plastic component. This mechanism brings about a series of beneficial effects including the improvement of thermal, mechanical and dielectric properties in plastics.

At All Chemical, we recommend the application of the following silane coupling agents to improve the working conditions of plastic processing, while improving work efficiency and product quality. Although silicane polymers are very compliant because of the thermal stability and low surface energy, the application of those agents will help to promote adhesion between the polymer and filler, improve the plastic physical and chemical performance, and modify the processing process.
