Stearic Acid

Stearic acid is a white solid with a mild odour. As a saturated fatty acid with an 18-carbon chain, Stearic acid’s structure contributes to improve the texture and consistency of other washing, cleaning, and cosmetic products.

As a surfactant and softening agent, this product helps to reduce tension between two substances and improve the ability of making water and oil mix together more easily. This is used in a large range of manufactures including leather treatment products, polymers, pH regulators and water treatment products, textile treatment products, dyes, lubricants and greases.
