Sodium Lactate is the sodium salt of lactic acid, which is produced by fermentation of sugar. Sodium Lactate is an excellent inclusion in all bar soaps, bath, skin care and hair care products because of its ability to bind water and improve the moisture content of the skin. In addition, Sodium lactate is used as food preservative, food acidity regulator, humectant, antioxidant or flavouring agent in the food industries, especially in meat industry. This product is food grade.
