Sodium Hexametaphosphate (commonly known as Calgon) 30% Solution is a concentrated liquid polyphosphate sequestrant designed for applications requiring increased active content while maintaining ease of handling.

It is widely used for washing and scouring sheep fleece and wool, particularly where hard water interferes with detergent efficiency. By sequestering calcium, magnesium, iron, and other dissolved metals, Sodium Hexametaphosphate improves soil removal, reduces redeposition, and helps preserve fibre quality.

In water treatment systems, Sodium Hexametaphosphate 30% Solution is used as a sequestrant for alkali and alkaline earth metals, supporting corrosion control, scale inhibition, and water softening.
