Sodium Carbonate Dense, commonly known as Washing Soda, Soda Ash Dense, Soda Crystals, or Sodium Carbonate (Na₂CO₃), is a high-purity alkaline chemical widely used in water treatment, cleaning products, detergent manufacturing, pH adjustment, glass production, and various industrial processes. In its monohydrate form, it is also referred to as crystal carbonate.

Pure sodium carbonate is a white, odourless granular powder that is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the air. It readily dissolves in water to form a moderately alkaline solution and is highly effective for neutralising acids, increasing pH, and softening hard water by precipitating calcium and magnesium ions.
