Silane Coupling Agents for Surface Treatment

Silane coupling agents have two different functional groups, one reacts with organic materials and the other one reacts with inorganic fillers. As a mechanism to bond well an inorganic filler with an organic resin, silane coupling agents are used in the form of plastics, rubber, or paint. Those composite products facilitate the decrease of water and oil absorption and the increase of sediment volume.
