Potassium Bicarbonate is a colourless, odourless, slightly basic, salty substance. The FCC grade meets the requirements of the Food Chemical Codex indicates and is suitable for all food, beverage and nutritional supplement applications.

Physically, potassium bicarbonate occurs as a crystal or a soft white granular powder. This compound is a source of carbon dioxide for leavening in baking, as well as a reagent and strong buffering agent in medications.
