Odour emissions from sewage treatment plants, rising mains and pump stations are a concern with an increase in odour related complaints over the years.  Odour cleaner reduces odours by attaching to light aromatics, gases and attached flavonoids or constituent odour-causing substances. Problems with smell arise when bacteria start to die, and the product breaks down the solids to provide a food source for the bacteria, consequently improving and enhancing bio-degradability in a shorter time frame. Odour cleaners encapsulate off-gases of long-chain hydrocarbons and attack odours at the source.
