All Chemical’s Defoamer or Antifoam solution enables the rapid spread of our Defoamer on foamy surfaces. Its chemical attraction to the air-liquid surface interface allows it to destabilise the foam surface tension. This defoamer is a silicone-based polymer with silicone backbones and exists in oil or water-based emulsions.

Our Defoamer consists of hydrophobic silica ends dispersed in silicone oil. This antifoam product is prepared from a silicon-based polymer with a molecular weight between 3,200 to 16,500 Da.

Moving further, the long-term storage of diluted defoamer may diminish its antimicrobial effect, and hence, additional preservatives may be required to retain its efficacy. This silicone-based defoamer can also be used for non-aqueous foaming processes such as crude oil refining.

All Chemical Defoamer has a lower surface tension than alternative organic antifoams. For this reason, our products are effective even at much lower dosage rates, making them more cost-effective. Additionally, our Defoamer is a silicone antifoam that tends to last longer as compared to organic alternatives, is insoluble in most systems, is less reactive in most foaming mediums, and inflicts fewer compatibility concerns.
