Butyl Di-Glysolv is a versatile and organic glycol ether used as a solvent for paints and varnishes in the chemical industry, household detergents, brewing chemicals, and textile processing. Commonly known as Butyl Diglycol Ether, Butyl CARBITOL, Butoxydiglycol, 2-(2-Butoxyethoxy) Ethanol, and Diethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether (DEGBE), this colourless liquid can be also used as a dispersant for vinyl chloride resins in organosols, a diluent for hydraulic brake fluids, and a mutual solvent for soap, oil, and water in household cleaners.
