Biocide Broad Spectrum is a colourless to a pale-yellow cationic surfactant organic salt classified as a quaternary ammonium compound mainly used as a biocide, cationic surfactant, and a phase transfer agent.

As a biocide, Biocide Broad Spectrum is used as an Algaecide for clearing Algae, moss, lichens from paths, roof tiles, swimming pools, masonry, etc.

For skin protection, Biocide Broad Spectrum has demonstrated persistent antimicrobial activity for up to four hours after contact whereas ethanol-based sanitizer demonstrates skin protection for only 10 minutes post-application.

In beekeeping Biocide Broad Spectrum is used for the treatment of rotten diseases of the brood.
