BioAlgaecide

Bioalgaecide is a concentrated microbial product containing billions of CFU’s (Colony Forming Units) of a unique blend of bacillus bacterial strains, packaged in water- dissolvable sachets that you simply drop in the water every two weeks. Each pack has enough sachets to maintain your water for up to three months and prevent future growth. It treats and prevents the growth of algae in fishponds, aquariums, troughs, water troughs, dams, lakes, septic tanks and kitchen grease pits without harming pond plants or animals. Because an aquatic ecosystem has many types of organic materials, microbes are quite specific in their choice of food sources.

For this reason, Bioalgaecide contains various strains of beneficial bacteria to provide more consistent results. Water temperature should be ABOVE 10 degree C and have a pH range of 6-8. Microbial activity is slower at lower temperatures and pH values outside this range. It also helps to reduce nitrates and phosphates naturally.

Bioalgaecide has approximately 4 billion Colony Forming Units (CFU’s) per gram consist of:

• Ammonia ( NH3) Utilising Bacteria
• Hydrocarbon Degrading Bacteria
• Nitrate (NO3) Utilising Bacteria
• Lignin/Cellulose Degrading Bacteria
• Phosphorus Utilising Bacteria

As Bioalgaecide grows, it outcompetes algae for nutrients in the water, as well as consumes sludge, organic and fish waste along the base. The algae starve and dies off naturally, leaving you with crystal clear water.
